Key Procurement Deadlines for Closing the FY25 Fiscal Year

May 08, 2025

Procurement deadlines for FY25 year-end close include some that are earlier than prior years in preparation for the expansion of the CU Marketplace. View these key May and June closing dates below.

Changes to the year-end close this year include ARC data clean-up, purchase order and SAPO conversion procedures, and key lockout dates for ARC and Marketplace activity. Procurement users will be locked out of ARC on different dates depending on the type of transactions being processed, e.g., requisitions, vouchers.

All affirmed purchase orders that are rolled forward into FY26 will be converted to the CU Marketplace. Any PO created after the affirmation date will be automatically affirmed and rolled forward.

Central Purchasing and AP will close all requisitions and vouchers that are not fully approved by the deadlines outlined below. That means closed, unapproved transactions will need to be recreated in the CU Marketplace beginning July 1, 2025.

Marketplace Transactions After June 27

Unlike ARC, the CU Marketplace will stay open to users after the June 27 deadline at noon. This deadline is for FY25 processing. Any transaction placed in the Marketplace after the noon deadline on June 27 will be held for FY26 processing when the new fiscal year opens on July 1.
