Columbia University departments may not establish a bank account without first obtaining written approval from the Executive Vice President of Finance or the Treasurer. This condition applies to all University bank accounts. Additionally, there are a number of considerations that must be taken into account when requesting that funds be sent to international accounts and when documenting transactions on these accounts.
