Personal Information
Q. I was recently married/divorced. What documentation do I need to change my personal information?
A. Name: If the change is a spelling or format correction, no additional documentation is required. If the change is an official name change, then the appropriate documentation is required, i.e., a Social Security Card AND EITHER a Marriage Certificate OR a Court Order.
Sex: No documentation required
Birthdate: Driver's License, Passport, or Birth Certificate
Ethnicity: No documentation required
Marital Status: Marriage Certificate, Divorce Certificate, or Court Papers
Education: Diploma or Graduation Letter
Social Security Number: Social Security Card Visa / Citizenship: See list of Acceptable Documents on the back of the I-9 form.

Q. When do I receive my paycheck?
A. Please see the HR website TIG Payroll Calendar for July 2008 to June 2009.
Q. I am an officer with direct deposit for my paycheck. Where can I see details of my paycheck?
A. You can review and print your monthly statements through mycolumbia. Use your UNI ID and password to log-in.
Q. I have not received my paycheck/direct deposit advice (for support staff).

Q. How do I change my direct deposit information?
A. Please complete a Direct Deposit Form - Employee (info page).
Q. I want to change my withholdings. What should I do?
A. Please complete a W-4 and/or IT-2104 and submit it to Elias Zambrano .
Q. I may have been over/under paid, what do I do?
A. If you have been overpaid, please complete an Overpayment Recovery Form. If you believe you have been underpaid or have ANY questions, please call Elias Zambrano (851-7128) or email him at ez2156@columbia.edu.
